About The Course
This isn't your average equine ethology course! Prepare to go deep! We will investigate how we show up in relationship with horses, challenge long held beliefs, and likely change some of our perspectives. Throughout the course, carefully curated science-backed content is artfully blended with opportunities for self-awareness and self-growth, leading to a powerful experience of learning, growth, and change. The course is delivered both online and over six 90-min live zoom calls that are an engaging mix of lecture, discussion, personal reflection, and virtual hands-on practice sessions.
Meet Your Instructor
Leif Hallberg, M.A., LCP, LCPC is a horse trainer turned licensed mental health professional, internationally-recognized author, educator, and transformational coach who grew up on a remote ranch in Northern California where horses were her life. Over many years of living, being, and learning with horses, Leif developed an approach to human-equine interactions that is deeply relational. This approach is based not only on a profound respect for the intellect, self-efficacy, and ethological characteristics of these magnificent creatures, but also on an understanding of the significant impact humans have on the equines they interact with.
